Job Description:

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales & Marketing to lead Narda-MITEQ's overall sales and marketing efforts across the U.S. market. As a key member of the leadership team, this high-impact role is responsible for driving profitable growth through strategic sales execution, integrated marketing initiatives, and strong customer engagement. The Director will oversee the full sales and marketing team and work closely with engineering, operations, and executive leadership to align business goals, shape product direction, and strengthen our market position. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in the RF/microwave and defense sectors, a proven ability to build and scale high-performing sales pipelines, and the strategic mindset to convert complex technologies into clear, compelling value for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Lead sales functions, including regional sales, inside sales, key account development, and channel partner support.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans that meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Key contributor to strategic planning efforts, by bringing forward market trends, customer feedback, and competitive insights to help shape direction and priorities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, including OEMs, system integrators, and government contractors.
  • Manage sales forecasts and pipeline health using customer relationship tools and analytics.
  • Prepare and present monthly sales reports to the executive team, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering and operations to support quoting, delivery, and technical execution.
  • Oversee financial aspects of sales, including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.

Marketing & Business Strategy

  • Oversee brand positioning, trade shows, sales enablement, and all marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with product line leaders and executives to identify growth areas and prioritize market opportunities.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to support business growth.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across customer touchpoints.

Team & Culture

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the Sales & Marketing team, promoting professional development and performance excellence.
  • Create a culture of accountability, customer focus, and collaboration.
  • Represent Narda-MITEQ at customer visits, conferences, and industry events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field (MBA or technical graduate degree a plus).
  • At least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in sales, marketing, or business development within the RF/microwave, defense, or aerospace industries.
  • Proven leadership and management skills with Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in managing and growing sales channels including Distribution, Direct Sales, and Sales Reps.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. defense procurement and government contracting.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute in fast-paced, technical environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and marketing tools.
  • Must be a U.S. Person and be able to provide proof of status; ability to obtain a security clearance is a plus.
  • Willing to travel up to 25%.
