Job Description:

Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of process management. Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures. Recommends and implements enhancements to systems and processes. Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.

Essential Functions:

  • Development of prototype and production manufacturing processes including equipment, assembly tooling and test fixtures.
  • Supports New Product Introduction including new equipment/process introductions, work instruction, and DFM activities.
  • Create and maintain detailed manufacturing and process instructions for complex parts and processes. Create and maintain travelers and work instructions for new parts and assemblies as well as modifications to existing products.
  • Support production cell focused on thick film, thin film, substrate manufacturing, and electroplating.
  • Evaluate new and existing processes to ensure quality and safety of the job.
  • Develop, propose, and implement continuous improvement process initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Attention to details, strong work ethic and positive attitude, good communication and self-disciplined.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Material Science and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Ability and interest in working in a multi-faceted, fast paced environment.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing best practices, process documentation and control methods.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills with ability to exchange information with others clearly and concisely.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of business management principles and practices.
  • Must be able to work in a multi-faceted, high paced environment, interfacing with all levels of company personnel.
